Wat.Let.Je is Nicolette from Harskamp (The Netherlands).
She was called “Letje” in her childhood, and “wat let je” is a dutch expression. Those two originated the name Wat.Let.Je.Art.
After painting and drawing her whole youth, she first choose to study the history of art at the university of Amsterdam. But later on she followed her heart en start painting again. Besides that she is developing her photography skills and likes to combine this with her paintings.
Her main subject during the last couple of years is decay. And especially the color of decay.
Recently I made some work based on the farm life, inspired by the farm my grandparents used to have.
furthermore I picked up my first love: watercolor.
My love for colour is always what drives and inspires me!
